Kensington Heights Cooperative

Kensington Heights Cooperative is a peaceful, tree lined, well-maintained, beautifully landscaped property located within walking distance of the downtown area in the Village of Milford, in Michigan. A cooperative means the property is owned and governed by the members living there. Each member owns both stock and an occupancy agreement. There is an equity investment (buy in cost) which represents the proportionate share of all assets and liabilities of the corporation.

The monthly Carrying Charges take care of your share of the operating costs. Carrying Charges include the mortgage, taxes, insurance, primary maintenance, water, sewer, heat and capital improvements made to the property. Kensington Heights offers 1, 2, or 3 bedroom town homes that include many amenities such as central air conditioning, a substantial savings on cable TV, on site maintenance, private entrances, full size basements, and revolving replacements on carpet, tile, and appliances. The Co-op’s ultimate goal is not to make a profit; it is to provide benefits to its members.
